Recipe Notes:

  • While I haven’t specified what brand of crescent roll dough to use for this recipe, my go-to is usually Pillsbury Crescents which you can easily get in store or on Amazon.
  • Enjoy these BBQ crescent roll cups with a side of potato wedges, fries, or side salad for a delicious lunch option or a light dinner.
  • To reheat leftover BBQ crescent roll cups, wrap them in aluminum foil and bake them at 350℉ in the oven for 5-10 minutes.
How should I store these BBQ Crescent Roll Cups?

Store your baked crescent roll cups in an airtight container, wrapped individually in plastic wrap, for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.
Make sure that your roll cups have completely cooled before storing them.

Can I freeze these BBQ Crescent Rolls Cups?

Yes, you can! Either freeze your assembled roll cups baked or unbaked in the freezer for up to 1 month. When preparing your roll cups for storage, wrap them first in plastic wrap and then transfer them to an airtight container.

Defrost your frozen roll cups overnight in the refrigerator before reheating or baking.

Can I cook these crescent rolls in the Air Fryer?

Absolutely! While most crescent roll recipes are baked, there’s nothing stopping you from cooking them in the air fryer.

Simply place your BBQ crescent roll cups on your air fryer basket, making sure they don’t touch. Then cook your roll cups at 350°F for 4-6 minutes until they are golden brown.

Can I make these with different meat?

Yes, you can! While I’ve used shredded chicken for this recipe, go right ahead and use pulled turkey, pulled pork, or even pulled beef if you like. I usually always have leftover shredded chicken in my fridge or freezer which makes this a super convenient option but you can certainly use another meat.
