Recipe Notes:

  • These sliders are best enjoyed straight out of the oven!
  • These sliders can be assembled up to 4 hours before baking. Simply store them covered with foil or plastic wrap in your refrigerator until you’re ready to bake them!
  • This recipe yields 12 sliders, and most people usually eat about 2 sliders each. You can easily double or triple the recipe to feed a larger crowd!
  • Drain the browned ground beef otherwise, the grease will make the buns soggy.

Can I cook these sliders in an air fryer?

Yes, you can! Preheat your air fryer to 300F while you cut the sandwiches apart. Place the assembled sliders into the air fryer in a single layer with a small space between them for sufficient air circulation. Air fry the sliders for 5 to 8 minutes or until the cheese has melted and the sandwiches are golden brown on top.

What variations can I make these sliders?

These sliders are delicious as is but if you want to alter the recipe, then have a look at my suggestions below:
– Substitute cheddar cheese for Gruyere cheese or add Parmesan as well.
– Add slices of bacon to these sliders for extra meaty flavor.
– Add pickled jalapeños in between the meat and cheese for some heat.
– Add diced green pepper to the pan when browning the ground beef to resemble a Sloppy Joe.

What can I serve with these ground beef sliders?

These sliders can be served with chips, onion rings, creamy coleslaw, fries, veggies, and even some homemade soup!
