How to Make Easy Breakfast Pie Casserole
Ingredients You Will Need: (makes 2 pies)
- 1 pound pork sausage, cooked and crumbled up
- 1 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 2 unbaked pie crusts
- 6 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup chopped onion
- 1/3 cup sweet red pepper, chopped
- 1/3 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup baby spinach
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Put the crumbled up sausage in a large mixing bowl. Mix in the shredded cheddar cheese and the shredded Swiss cheese.
- Put the two unbaked pie shells in two pie pans.
- Place half the sausage mixture in one of the unbaked pie shells. Put the rest of the sausage mixture in the second pie crust.
- Mix the eggs, onion, milk, red pepper, green pepper and baby spinach. Make sure they are mixed very well.
- Pour half the egg mixture over one pie shell mixture. Then pour the remaining egg mixture over the other pie shell mixture.
- Bake one hour at 350 degrees F, or until toothpick inserted into the middle comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let stand for about 8 – 10 minutes. Cut in pie slices and serve.
How to Make Breakfast Hash
Ingredients You Will Need:
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup green pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup sweet red pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 6 cups potatoes, diced and cooked
- 1 cup of cooked bacon, chopped (about 8 slices)
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Directions:
- Melt the butter in a large skillet on medium heat. Add the chopped green pepper, onion, and red pepper into the skillet when the butter has melted.
- Cook the mixture until tender.
- Add the bacon, potatoes, and cayenne pepper.
- Turn heat down to low and stir the mixture occasionally.
- Cooking for about 15- 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until potatoes are tender.
- Remove from skillet and serve.

- 1 ½ cups confectioners sugar
- 2-3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 13×9 inch baking pan.
- Put 2 cups of flour, sugar, yeast, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Then slowly stir in the warm water.
- Add only two tablespoons of the softened butter and the egg, beating them until very smooth.
- Then add the remainder of the flour slowly and stir until a soft dough forms.
- Put plastic wrap over the top of the bowl and let the dough rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
- Flour a smooth surface, such as the table or countertop, and roll dough into a rectangle.
- Spread the rest of the butter, which should be four tablespoons, on the dough.
- In another bowl, mix cinnamon and brown sugar together and then sprinkle the mixture over the dough.
- Roll the dough up into a tight roll, starting on the long side. Then cut into about 12 slices.
- Put each cinnamon roll slice onto the baking dish. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
