RECIPE TIPS
- The batter is going to be thick and hard to mix which is why using a butter knife to occasionally clean the Nutella from the center of the whisk will help to ensure that all of it gets mixed with the eggs.
- You could also try warming your Nutella in the microwave for 15 seconds at a time until it’s soft, making it a bit easier to mix. But don’t let it get too warm otherwise you risk cooking the eggs when added!
- If these brownies are warm, they will be harder to get out of the muffin liners, which is why I suggest using silicone liners.
- If you want a cakier brownie, simply add ½ cup of all-purpose flour or almond flour. And if you want a chewier version, add 2 extra eggs.
How to Make Two Ingredient Nutella Brownies
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F Line a muffin tray with silicone liners and spray with cooking oil. (Highly recommend using silicone liners for this to prevent brownies from sticking.)
- In a medium-sized bowl, use an electric mixer to beat together the Nutella and eggs until completely combined.
- Use a cookie scoop to portion out the brownie batter into the prepared cupcake liners. (evenly between 12 liners)
- Bake for 20 minutes, or until tops are cracked and an inserted toothpick comes out with just a few crumbs attached to it (no wet batter).
- Allow to cool completely before removing brownies from the liners.
HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO MAKE THESE BROWNIES WITH ONLY 2 INGREDIENTS?
- It’s magic I tell you!! All jokes aside, it is pretty amazing how you only need Nutella and eggs – I mean, what can’t Nutella do?!
- The success of these brownies is whisking the eggs until they’re a light lemon-color, frothy, and have tripled in mass. It’s what will leaven the brownies which means you need to whisk those eggs well!
HOW SHOULD THESE NUTELLA BROWNIES BE STORED?
- You can store these Nutella brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week (if they last!).
ARE THESE BROWNIES GLUTEN-FREE?
- You bet they are! There’s nothing else added other than the eggs to the Nutella so they make a tasty gluten-free treat!
