Recipe Notes:
- Velveeta cheese is a well-known processed cheese. You could certainly use another processed cheese that melts well without clumping.
- You can keep this dip for longer by leaving it in the slow cooker, and stirring the dip mixture every 10-15 minutes.
- Be careful when reheating this dip. When cheese is overheated it can quickly become grainy in nature…so even when reheating, remember to add some liquid such as milk.
- To make a thinner dip, slowly add milk and stir until you achieve the desired consistency.
1. Add a packet of taco seasoning to this dip to give it a taco flavor. Other great flavor additions include garlic and onion powder.
