Crescent Roll Peach Cobbler
Crescent Roll Peach Cobbler is a summer-inspired dessert consisting of a crescent roll dough base and topping, with a peach and cinnamon sugar filling.
Nothing beats a slice of warm crescent roll peach cobbler straight out of the oven served with whipped cream or ice cream!
Recipe Notes:
- Use whatever brand of refrigerated crescent roll dough you prefer the best. I always tend to use Pillsbury crescent roll dough in my baked goods.
- The cinnamon in this recipe provides delicious warmth – perfect for any fall and winter-inspired dessert. You could also use nutmeg and cardamom in this dessert.
- Should you choose to use fresh peaches and want to peel them easily, cut a small X in the bottom of each peach. Place peaches in boiling water for about 30 seconds. Remove them and plunge them into ice water until they are cool enough to touch, but still warm enough for easy peeling. Remove the skins starting to peel from the incision that you made.
- For an extra fruity cobbler, add in other fruits such as apricots or berries. You could also adapt this recipe by changing the fruit entirely to something like apricots or your preferred berries.
- A splash of orange juice or a little orange zest will give a special tangy flavor to this dessert.
- Serve your cobbler hot or cold, with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
Yes you can. You can decide to either peel the peaches or leave the skins on. Skins do tend to soften and dissolve in the cooking, however it is up to you. Canned peaches are so convenient for a quick assemble.
Leftover peach cobbler can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. Be mindful that the longer the peach cobbler is stored, the softer the crescent roll dough will become.

Hello, this sounds good but I’m wondering what size can of peaches – the small or the larger cans?
Thanks 😉
15oz cans. I hope that helps!
Hi Corey, I was just wondering can I lay a roll on the bottom and then the peaches and a roll on top ?
Sorry I missed this comment Kristin. I have only made the recipe as written, so I don’t know for sure how that would work.
