Recipe Notes:

  • I’ve assembled these mini desserts in clear plastic cups. You could make a larger dessert and add it to a glass trifle bowl instead if you wish.
  • I’ve used store-bought cherry pie filling for convenience, but you can make cherry pie filling from scratch for the best flavor if you have the time.
  • Lining plastic cups with chocolate syrup is a delicious addition of chocolate flavor to these dessert cups. Cherry syrup is also a great option.
  • If you don’t enjoy Bailey’s Irish Cream, consider a cherry liqueur instead.
  • You can easily double this recipe if you’re serving to a crowd.
How can I make this non- alcoholic?

If you don’t enjoy alcohol in your food, use plain cream instead.

How should I store these Cherry Bailey’s Mini Desserts?

This dessert will keep well in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but anything longer than that may make the chocolate chip cookies a little soggy and mushy due to the cream and other wet ingredients used.

When storing in the refrigerator, cover your dessert cups tightly with plastic wrap or store leftovers in an airtight container.

Can I make these using a different fruit?

Absolutely! You can use this dessert recipe to make a strawberry or raspberry Bailey’s mini dessert.
