RECIPE TIPS

  • If you don’t own an air fryer but don’t feel like the hassle of frying your ravioli in a dutch oven, bake them in the oven at 400℉ for 15 – 20 minutes or pan fry them by adding enough oil to cover the bottom of your pan.
  • You can use frozen ravioli for this recipe but will need to ensure that they have completely thawed prior to following the recipe steps. Some suggest that you can add frozen ravioli to an air fryer but I like to ensure a proper cook so rather defrost them first.
  • You can use seasoned breadcrumbs or plain but if you opt for plain, feel free to add more seasoning depending on taste.

HOW TO STORE AIR FRYER FRIED RAVIOLI?

  • These fried ravioli are best tasting fresh from the air fryer. With that said, if you have any leftovers or are wanting to make these ahead of time then you’ll be happy to know that you can store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 1-2 days.
  • You could also flash freeze your fried ravioli and then transfer them to a Ziploc bag for storage in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • To reheat, simply place your raviolis an a parchment line baking sheet in the oven for about 10 minutes at 350℉ or pop them back into the air fryer for a few minutes, making sure that you flip them mid-cook for equal crispiness on all sides.

IS THERE A PARTICULAR TYPE OF RAVIOLI I SHOULD USE?

  • You’ll find an array of ravioli with various fillings in store or online that you are free to choose from – I haven’t specified any particular type as it’s completely based on personal preference.
  • An assortment of ravioli with different fillings is always a great idea when serving this air fryer appetizer to a crowd!
