Ingredient Notes
- Boneless skinless chicken breasts – Cook down into juicy, flavorful pieces that shred easily after slow cooking.
- Minced garlic – Fresh garlic gives the sauce bold flavor and aroma.
- Butter – Adds richness and helps create a silky base for the flavorful homemade alfredo sauce.
- Heavy cream – Essential for the creamy sauce texture you expect in great alfredo recipes.
- Chicken stock – Provides extra depth of flavor and keeps the sauce from being too thick.
- Fettuccine – A classic pasta that soaks up every bit of creamy goodness.
- Parmesan cheese – Freshly shredded parmesan melts beautifully into the sauce for amazing flavor.
- Broccoli – A bright and healthy addition that cooks on top of the chicken and pasta for extra flavor and texture.
