M&M Slutty Brownies
M&M Slutty Brownies are incredibly delicious and look like a gourmet treat when in reality, they’re so easy to make!
These brownies consist of a cookie dough base, a layer of Oreo cookies, rich and chocolatey brownie mix, and topped with M&Ms. Serve your M&M slutty brownies with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or whipped cream and a drizzle of chocolate sauce or caramel sauce for added decadence.
- For convenience, line the baking pan with foil, allowing some of the foil to hang over the edges. This will help you to lift the baked brownies out of the pan once cooled for you to cut them on a large cutting board. Peel away the foil before cutting them.
- Read the instructions of the packaged brownie mix carefully. Brownie mixes will differ in the number of eggs and amount of oil and water called for.
- I’ve used an 8×8-inch baking pan for these brownies, which took them almost an hour to bake. A 9×9-inch tray will take about 45 minutes to bake, while a 9×13 baking pan will require even less time (about 35 minutes). If you aren’t certain whether your brownies have baked completely, use the toothpick test.
- I allowed my brownies to cool overnight at room temperature before slicing them with a serrated knife.
– Plain chocolate brownie mix can be used or you can make your own from scratch.
– Try other types of cookie dough for the brownie base such as peanut butter cookie dough or a double chocolate cookie dough. Use store-bought refrigerated cookie dough for convenience, or make your own cookie dough from scratch.
– Add chopped nuts (raw or roasted) to the brownie batter for extra texture.
– Use one color of M&Ms or a specific color combination to match a theme or holiday.
– Use Golden Oreos instead of original Oreo cookies.
– For gluten-free brownies, use a gluten-free brownie mix.
