RECIPE TIPS

  • This lucky charms bark is absolutely adorable! Consider gifting it to friends and family in a parchment paper-lined paper gift box with decorative ribbon and a gift tag.
  • If the melted chocolate chips seem to have clumps despite following the recipe, add in a very small amount of unflavored oil such as vegetable or canola oil. This should help to create a smoother consistency.
  • Always keep a watchful eye when melting chocolate – it’s easier to burn than you would think and then you’ll definitely need to start over.

How to Make Lucky Charms Bark

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  2. Place white chocolate in a heat-proof bowl and place over a pot of boiling water.
  3. Whisk the chocolate until melted, about 2 minutes.
  4. Once chocolate is melted, scoop into the center of the lined baking sheet.white chocolate being spread on parchment paper

HOW SHOULD I STORE LUCKY CHARMS BARK?

  • You can store most chocolate barks in a cool, dry area for a couple of weeks when placed in an airtight container.
  • If, however, you live in humid conditions, it’s best to store your lucky charms bark in the refrigerator although the mini marshmallows may start to go a little soggy from any condensation in the fridge.

CAN I STORE THIS CHOCOLATE BARK IN THE FREEZER?

  • If you have leftovers then you can definitely store your lucky charms bark in the freezer. If, however, you intend making this in advance of St Patrick’s Day, I don’t recommend that you freeze this bark since chocolate can discolor through freezing and you want your lucky charms bark to look its best when you serve it to your friends and family.

WHAT VARIATIONS CAN I MAKE TO THIS LUCK CHARMS BARK?

The great thing about any chocolate bark recipe is it’s versatility! Some ways that you could adapt this lucky charms bark is by adding in some chopped nuts, using different shapes or colors of sprinkles, add some colored or glitter sanding sugar, or even add in your favorite flavor extract. lucky charms bark on a platter
