– Corn Chex cereal – Chex cereals are gluten-free
– Chocolate Chex cereal
– Cheerios cereal – General Mills Cheerios are gluten-free
– Mini pretzel twists – you can use gluten-free pretzels to make this snack mix gluten-free. Any other shape is fine to use as well.
– Peanuts – I prefer to use lightly salted peanuts so they balance out the sweetness without being overly salty.
– Vanilla almond bark
– Red and green milk chocolate candies – such as M&Ms or Hersheyettes
– Crushed candy canes – you can also use crushed peppermint candies
You will need the following supplies:
1. Measuring cups/kitchen scale

3. Microwave-safe mixing bowl
4. Parchment paper or wax paper

Easy Christmas Chex Mix
- In a large mixing bowl, toss together the Corn Chex, Chocolate Chex, Cheerios, pretzel twists, and peanuts. Set aside.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, heat the almond bark on 50% power for 30 second increments, stirring well after each increment, until completely melted and smooth.
- Pour the melted almond bark over the cereal mixture and stir well to coat. Allow the mixture to cool slightly and stir in the milk chocolate candies.
- Spread the mixture on a large piece of wax paper or a parchment paper lined baking sheet and sprinkle with crushed candy canes.
- Allow the mix to set at room temperature until completely hardened.
- Break into pieces and store or serve.
