Ingredients

  • 2 lbs boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 onion diced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cans cream of chicken soup
  • 3 ½ cups chicken broth
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • ¼ teaspoon dried thyme
  • ¼ teaspoon dried sage
  • ¼ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 16 oz dried homestyle egg noodles
  • Chopped parsley for topping

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts into the Crockpot. Add onion, garlic, cream of chicken soup, and chicken broth.

  • Top with butter and seasonings. Cover and cook on low for 4-5 hours or high for 2 ½-3 hours.

  • Remove chicken and shred with two forks.

  • Return shredded chicken to the crock pot along with the egg noodles.

  • Stir well, cover, and cook an additional 30 minutes until noodles are tender.
