Equipment

Ingredients

  • 3 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  • Pour 1 cup water into the inner pot of your Instant Pot. Insert a steamer basket into the bottom of the pot. Add the broccoli florets on top of the steamer basket. You want the broccoli sitting above the water, not swimming in it.

  • Close and lock the lid. Turn the steam release valve to the sealing position. Set to cook at high pressure for 1 minute. When the Instant Pot beeps and the cooking cycle is finished, do a quick pressure release by carefully turning the valve to open. Keep your hands and face away from the steam. Once all the steam is released, open the lid and remove the broccoli right away.
