Ingredients
2largeChicken Breastsor 4 small
Salt and Pepperto taste
1TablespoonTaco Seasoning
1TablespoonOil
1cupSalsaas needed
1cupShredded Cheddar Cheese
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 450F. Cut the chicken breasts in half through the middle to form 4 thinner chicken filets.
Season the chicken with salt, pepper, and taco seasoning.
Place the oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken filets and sear on the first side until well-browned, about 3-4 minutes. Flip the chicken over and continue cooking until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165F. Remove from heat.
Top each chicken filet with salsa and shredded cheddar cheese.
Place the chicken in the oven and cook until the cheese melts about 3-5 minutes.
