Ingredients
2tbspcooking oil
1 ½lbbeef steaksliced in small strips against the grain
½onionsliced fine
1container mushroomssliced
12ozbroccoli floretsfresh
Sauce
1/3cupsoy sauce
1/3cupbeef broth
2tbspsugar
dash dried chili flakes
1tspgarlicminced
1tspgingergrated
1tbspcornstarch
Instructions
In a large pan, heat the oil to hot. Add the beef and sear the beef to the point that it’s almost cooked.
Add the mushrooms and onions to the beef and saute over medium- high heat, quickly till the mushrooms begin to soften and caramelize, and the onions are getting soft.
Next, make the sauce by adding the soy sauce, broth, sugar, chili flakes, garlic, ginger and cornstarch together. Add the broccoli and sauce to pan.
Mix and continue to cook until broccoli softens to your liking.
Take it off the heat and serve immediately. Garnish with sesame seeds and serve over rice.
