Ingredients

Cream Cheese Mixture

  • 8 oz cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup caramel sauce - recipe below
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon

Caramel Sauce

  • 2 cups light brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • ½ cup 1 stick unsalted butter
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

Topping

  • Heath English Toffee Bits found in the baking aisle or chop a candy bar into small pieces
  • Serving
  • Apples
  • Cookies
  • Graham Crackers or Graham Cracker sticks

Instructions

Caramel Sauce

  • In a saucepan, combine brown sugar, butter, salt and heavy whipping cream. Bring to boil and cook stirring constantly for 5-7 minutes or until thickened.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract

Cream Cheese Mixture

  • In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, brown sugar and cinnamon until smooth. Add caramel sauce and beat until smooth.

Assembly

  • Add cream cheese mixture to bowl or jar. Place in refrigerator to chill about 15-20 minutes.
  • Spoon caramel sauce over cream cheese mixture
  • Then sprinkle on toffee bits
