Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese softened
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 21 ounces cherry pie filling
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 ½ cups miniature marshmallows
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • Marachino cherries for garnish

Instructions

  • In a mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  • Add powdered sugar and vanilla extract to the cream cheese. Beat until well combined and fluffy.
  • Gradually fold in the cherry pie filling until evenly distributed throughout the mixture.
  • In a separate bowl, whip the heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form.
  • Gently fold the whipped cream into the cherry and cream cheese mixture until no streaks remain. Be careful not to overmix to maintain the light and airy texture.
  • Add miniature marshmallows to the mixture and gently fold them in.
  • Transfer the cherry fluff mixture to a serving dish or individual dessert cups.
  • Cover the dish or cups with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2-3 hours, or until the fluff is chilled and set.
  • Before serving, you can optionally garnish with maraschino cherries, a dollop of whipped cream, or some chopped nuts.
