Ingredients
2poundslean ground beef
1tablespoonminced onion
Salt and black pepperto taste
¼cupketchup
1tablespoonDijon mustard
1tablespoonWorcestershire sauce
1teaspoongarlic powder
1cupshredded cheddar cheese
12slicesmild cheddar cheese
1package white slider buns
3tablespoonsbuttermelted
1tablespoonsesame seedsoptional
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Prepare a baking sheet with parchment paper or a 9x13 baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef, crumbling the meat as it cooks. Stir in the minced onion and season with salt and black pepper. Drain the excess grease from the cooked meat.
To the cooked meat, stir in the ketchup, mustard, worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Once blended, stir in the shredded cheese. Remove from heat.
Place the bottom of the slider buns into the prepared baking dish.
On top of the slider bun bottoms, place half of the sliced cheese, the ground beef mixture, and the remaining sliced cheese. Add the tops of the slider buns.
Brush the buns with melted butter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Cover the sliders with aluminum foil and bake for 20 minutes.Uncover and continue baking for an additional 10 minutes or until the sliders are golden brown.
