Brown Sugar Baked Beans
These Brown Sugar Baked Beans are sweet and salty with just the right amount of spice to make them a delicious addition to any meal that both kids and adults will love.
- 53 ounce can pork and beans
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 1 small onion chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 5 strips bacon chopped
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large bowl, combine all the ingredients. Stir to mix.
Pour the mixture in a 3-quart casserole dish.
Bake uncovered for 45 minutes to one hour, until liquid is slightly thickened and bacon is cooked through.
Allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
