Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sirloin steak cut into 1 to 2 inch pieces
  • 3 tablespoons taco seasoning blend
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 2 green bell peppers seeded and cut into 1 to 2 inch pieces
  • 2 red bell peppers seeded and cut into 1 to 2 inch pieces
  • 1 white onion cut into 1 to 2 inch pieces

Instructions

  • In a gallon size freezer bag, combine the meat and seasoning. Close the bag and shake until the meat is well coated. Refrigerate for 1 to 2 hours.
  • Prepare the skewers by alternating the vegetables and meat.
  • Prepare the grill to medium high heat. Carefully oil the grill grates.
  • Place the skewers on the prepared grill and cook, covered for 10 minutes or until the beef has reached desired doneness, flipping the skewers halfway through the cook time.
  • Serve alone or with flour tortillas and the toppings for fajitas.
