The bottom layer, especially because it is not enough recipe for a 9×13 pan, needs to be doubled for a 9×13 pan, along with the rest of the ingredients. Like I said, it fits a 9×9 pan perfectly as is, but when I make it again, (I love the taste) I will double the base for the 9×9 pan but not the rest of the ingredients (I like a thicker bottom layer)

This is a fantastic recipe! My family absolutely loves it. This is one the most requested desserts that they ask for. So refreshing! I make the crust thicker (1.5X the recipe) because everyone loves it and I did add more lemon juice and zest but that is because I am a lemon freak. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.

I’ve made this a few times and it’s amazing. I have used a lemon pie filing instead of the instant pudding. For nut allergies try a graham cracker crust. You can skip the baking step. As to the rating, I’m trying to hit the five star as it’s better than five star but Pinterest isn’t letting me go past four

You can, it just might not hold up as long. So if you are serving the cake right away, it would be just fine.
